A collection of novellas by the psychotic master of mystery. I’ve said it a thousand times, you can’t go wrong with Spillane. It’s impossible.
Spillane was a fuckin’ animal back in his day. No one did psychotic heroes better than he did. Reading the back copy on this book, it sounds like I’m in for a 190-page blood orgasm.
I’m kind of 50/50 on Wright. Sometimes he impresses me, sometimes he just doesn’t satisfy. I have high hopes for this one, though. The back of the book sounds pretty interesting.

I love his work, but his short stories are probably his weakest form. Still, the first story in the book knocked it out of the park, so we’ll see how it goes.
