WHAT I’M READING NOW: THE DOOR INTO SUMMER by Robert A. Heinlein

Heinlein is probably my favorite classic SF writer, if not my favorite all-time SF writer.  The man had a foot in the past and the other in the future.  His social ideas were astounding, and STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND is one of the greatest books ever written.  Even his weakest work is pretty good.  I will never pass up an opportunity to read his work.  This one is about a guy whose wife is cheating on him with his friend, so in order to escape detection, they have him pretty much cryogenically frozen (it’s not called that, but it amounts to the same thing) so they can also steal his business.  Weird shit.  I love it.
