WHAT I’M READING NOW: THE NINTH CONFIGURATION by William Peter Blatty

In all honesty, I’m not a huge Blatty fan.  I’ve only liked three of his books:  THE EXORCIST (obviously), LEGION, and I’LL TELL THEM I REMEMBER YOU.  Most people don’t understand that he’s a humorist, not a horror writer.  THE NINTH CONFIGURATION is kind of funny.  I’d have probably liked it a lot more when I was younger.  Still, we’ll see where this leads.  (Also, this book has the worst cover ever.  The publisher tried to market it as a horror novel, not the humorous, CATCH-22-ish book it really is.)
