The fact that I have this book is good news. A while ago, Jason Sizemore (the chief at Apex, who published this book) sent us customers a message saying that Piccirilli wasn’t feeling up to signing the books due to his recent brain surgery. Sizemore offered us a choice: a refund (and we get to keep the digital version of the book) or we could wait until Piccirilli recovers. I went with the latter, and shortly after, I got my copy of the book. Signed. Which means that Piccirilli is feeling much better and is recovering nicely. This is good, because he’s one of the best writers we have, and this one looks like a hell of a read.
